To be honest...keep checking to see if he is coming to where you're at for a concert. If he comes, you can wait outside where his bus is at or whatever. If he's not coming over to Sydney...go to California. I have a friend there who says he comes around like almost every year. I think he was in that Rock the Bells concert out in Cali. You just have to try to catch him after a show or know a promoter from that area. You could try to write him, but I am sure he gets stuff like that all the time. Hope that helps.....

How do i go about meeting modeling agents?
I would like to be signed to elite. but where do i start? I live in NYC. I'm 5'11 125 pounds. 21 years old. Am i too old? How do I start? How can i speak to modeling agencies or make appointments to speak with them? How do i go about meeting modeling agents?
Elite does not hold open calls in NY. They make everyone send in pictures through their website, and they will call you if they think you have potential and want to see you in person
But don't put all your eggs in one basket - send in your pictures to as many agencies as possible. These are the top ones - http://models.com/agencies/top/ but there are others like Q, Red, Click, VNY and Boss that are also worth checking out
If there is no open call information on the agency website, you can always call to see if they have any. Ford, for example, has open calls every week. How do i go about meeting modeling agents?
Mail them a head shot and body shot. Don't wear lingerie or try to look sexy and keep the makeup light and natural looking. If they like you, they'll call you in to take a look at you in person. If you look young in the face (have you been taking care of your skin?), you're not too old. You can also go on their website and see if they have any upcoming open calls and attend one of those. How do i go about meeting modeling agents?
i suggest getting pictures taken (photoshoot) or simply have a friend take some with a digital camera. if you are going to do the second one, be outside in good lighting, DONT wear a lot of makeup, remember that you want to look as young as possible, and you dont want to set an image for yourself. so by wearing natural makeup and very little of it, you are showing the agency that they could put any makeup on you and it would look good, not just a certain look that you are wearing in the picture. you should wear blue fitting jeans, a white cami, with a white button up shirt on top, not buttoned. THEN, send the pictures in online. if you go to elite's website, hit apply, put in the necessary info, upload the pictures, and apply. then they might call you or email you back! good luck!
first off, unfortunately just about everyone wants to be signed with elite. being tall and thin really doesnt cut it; everyone that sends in their photos and resumes are tall and thin, and they get thousands of submissions per week. being 21, yes, you are quite old to just be starting, and elite generally wont book a girl for fashion that has no experience and is already in her 20's. you have to have a look that is so unique, you stick out in a sea of gorgeous, tall and thin girls. also, you cant just call up the agencies and talk to an agent; if you could do that, theyd be on the phone all day, dealing with people who are dying to get signed. you have to do what everyone else does; send in specific snapshots, measurements (which they are very specific about; its not about weight, its about proportion) plus dress and shoe size (anything above a 2 or 4 isnt considered for fashion usually; unless she is a plus size girl) to the agency, and pray they see something in your that none of those other girls have. dont count on one agency to sign you, ESPECIALLY elite- they are the most competitive, reputable and selective agency in the world, and only about .1% of the girls that try to get signed with them actually do. they get really annoyed when girls call agencies with questions, so dont do it; just stick to the basic guidelines everyone has to follow. speaking with someone doesnt improve your chances, and theres nothing you can say or do to do that; its based mainly on looks on how photogenic you are.

Can a woman of faith and a man of science agree to meet in the middle and live happy productive lives?
I believe so.....In fact, I'm counting on it!Can a woman of faith and a man of science agree to meet in the middle and live happy productive lives?
im not sure I would describe myself as a 'man of science'...but I'm very rational...and I had a perfectly fine relationship with a southern baptist for quite a while. Our different views never were a problem...in fact she ironically seemed to have deep respect for my opinion on many spiritual topics.
I was also quite able to have civil debate and discussion about christianity with her fanatic family members without it ever becoming emotional...its really simple if you take the effort to approach it correctly...In fact, now that i think about it, the best way to have a civil discussion is to have such complete and good understanding of your philosophy that you really can say something about any question at all, you never hit any sort of cognitive dead end that stimulates some fight or flight emotion.
If you respect and love each other, your faith in God and science, depending on where you find your center on both, is up to you.
Love is tolerance too. I am assuming you're talking about a marriage, but friendships work that way too. I may not always believe in the same things my friends believe in. But if they're there for me, its not because they're people of God or science; they're there for me because they care about me.
That's how it works. It has little to do with personal faith systems. I know a pastor who, among his friends, says he believes he is an atheist and only serves people in his church because he cares for them. To him its not about God its about helping others. Rather than preach God, he simply preaches from parables instead. Merely trying to guide people to be kind to one another. I can't imagine how anyone in his church would want to keep him there, but apparently they like him anyway.
The point I'm getting at is, its the relationship between people. In marriage it ends when one spouse dies. It works the same with friendships in life too.
So yes, I think you can count on it. Good luck. Can a woman of faith and a man of science agree to meet in the middle and live happy productive lives?
Yes, I've done it, shocking as that may be to anyone who's familiar with my posts.
Edit: Ignore Bert's post, it's founded upon naught but ignorance and faulty logic. I'm not entirely sure why he thinks I secretly don't accept scientific fact because my partner doesn't, nor do I quite get why I should pretend I don't accept scientific theories and call myself something else (though I'm not entirely sure what a 'follower of science' should be called in the first place - 'scientist' is probably closest, but I highly doubt we'd call school children who'd just learnt evolution 'scientists').
Regardless, I certainly don't consider my university education 'false doctrine' or anything along those lines. The idea that you need to share the exact opinions as your partner is mind blowingly ridiculous.
It depends on how set the scientist are in there ways. There are many scientist that are creationists or intelligent design oriented. However I have an in-law whom is married to a christian woman active in her church as well as him so I assumed though he was a scientist would appreciate a discussion on evolution verses creationism. to my surprise he snapped at me don't go there I have been studying evolution for 30 years. that is a lot of time invested in something to have to face the truth about. Evolutionist insist that they are right with the same blind faith they accuse us off. there are more scientist out there however then you think that believe in God. It is a precarious position for them being that the influential scientific community (renowned, accepted or any other forms or political power) will humiliate them and any mention of God may result in loss of grants or jobs. Even though there is more evidence against evolution and big bang. Unfortunately are students are being taught these theories as fact. To the question of, "Can they live happy productive lives?" My in-laws seem to be doing very well for many years. He worked at Nasa her in the church. So I think it boils down to the individual couples and what they are willing to tolerate from one another. The hope is that the other will come around. there is a scripture that says if you are saved so will be your family. But there is another that tells us not to be unevenly yoked. these are both periphrases you take it from there. Can a woman of faith and a man of science agree to meet in the middle and live happy productive lives?
Not if they are true to what they believe.
If she is of faith, she will try to teach him.
If he is not of faith, he will try to teach her.
If they "meet in the middle" they are both turning from their beliefs and should stop calling themselves what they are no longer.
It is possible to live happy productive lives without being dedicated to your belief, so that would be where you decide what your priorities are.
I wish you both the best in your efforts.
I met one once, married to a women of faith. But to do it without wars every so often, cold wars or loud wars, they are all harmful, he'd have to accept that there is a God. And it would at the least have to be the same God as you've got.
I think a man of faith and a woman of science would do well also.
Its not one or the other. You an be very scientific and still believe that there is a greater power.
I've seen couples like that. The just have to have a lot of mutual respect and it works out fine. Best of luck to you.
Yes. My wife is a Christian and I'm agnostic. We have some really good conversations.
No.
What will your children be... The removal of distentions is EXACTLY what Satan wants..
If they only knew where the middle was.
Sure why not. Love has many a curious twist.
Sure, just don't talk too much to each other....!!
It occurs more than we know.
maybe but it is a risk unless he can respect your beliefs...see marriage...TIRH

Im 27 and moving to San Antonio. Where is the best and safest place to live to still meet people & have fun?
All San Antonians have their prefernces, but there are nice areas all over the city. The choices are going to vary dependent on you ability to pay.
I like the 281 corridor north of downtown. Inside loop410 you have the Quarry area, Alamo Heights and lots of nice historic areas close to the downtown area, but still outside the downtown issues. There are some great areas in Southtown, but I would rather visit them than live there, personally. Many people like the King William area, and it is very nice, but dependent on where you are, the taxes can be high for the services you recieve. In the 281/1604 area, and around Henderson Pass there are numerous apartments complexes, where younger San Antonians live, and the area has some great shopping, restaurants, and has access to the city easily on 1604 and 281. This is also one of the fastest growing areas of the city. There is a lot of new development around I-10 and 1604, and an interesting new area is being developed where there will be apartments and condos over the restaurants and stores so you can walk through the area and not have to drive as much.
The best idea, since the area is so spread out, and mass transportation is only fair in the city, and fuel is getting high is to find a nice area near your work if possible.Im 27 and moving to San Antonio. Where is the best and safest place to live to still meet people %26amp; have fun?
I'm also partial to the North Central and Northeast closest to North Central. I like the 281 area because it's easy access to downtown, there are many colleges very close by, you can go by car or bus to get just about anywhere. I like the quarry area because it is close to all the more eclectic artistic areas. Also lots of fun nightclubs on Broadway and downtown and 281 and 1604. If you are family oriented I would say the Northwest. If you are young and want to experience San Antonio, I would say North of downtown.
I'm partial to the North Central and North East of San Antonio.
I live just outside of Loop 1604 near IH-35 and have for over 20 years. I live in an older neighborhood with smaller houses (built in the 1960's and about 1000 sq ft). The cost of these are less than $100,000 and I have a yard and garage.
The rooms are small, but I still have a house, yard, garage and money left over for a life.
North Central has some really nice areas, nice price tags to go with them. Depends on what you can afford.
Lots of people like the Quarry area - it's a nice area - shops, restaurants, sports bar, movies.
Good luck!!Im 27 and moving to San Antonio. Where is the best and safest place to live to still meet people %26amp; have fun?
i would move outside of the loop (loop 1604) not so into the city. i live out side of 410 on the geographical west side (west side to san antonians is the ghetto). if you have money and patience with development go to the northside, thats basically the most decent area of the city.
maybe right outside of the county line in guadalupe county in schertz. my grandparents live there
dont go to stone oak...
anywhere north of downtown..not so much east
and not south
just north
lol
this prolly doesnt help you
How about the corner of Utopia and Fantasy Land? Come on,grow up. Any city you move to has crime in it. No matter where you go,every culture has good and bad.
Oh,and in case no one ever said it, Welcome to San Antonio!Im 27 and moving to San Antonio. Where is the best and safest place to live to still meet people %26amp; have fun?
if you want to be safe and have fun, i would say anywhere on the north west side of town. there is nice dinner spots, sport bars, clubs and more. this side of town will more then likely be most convenient to you.
The northeast side is great it also has lots of stores and theatres near by plus if you have kids schools are great.

How do web sites' advertisements know where you live?
For example I go to a random site that I am not registered on and that technically should not know anything about me. The advertisements on the sides say "meet singles in _____ (the town where I live)" It is very creepy. How does the site know where I live? And how can I fix it that it doesn't know? How do web sites' advertisements know where you live?
When your computer makes a request to a website, it has to include information that lets the site send the information back to your computer.
That information can identify roughly where you are. The accuracy is about 95% and the precision is about city level.
It isn't anything to worry about, and the only way you can stop it is to have your requests come from a computer that is in a different location to you (e.g. using a proxy server). It really isn't worth the effort.
It really means nothing. They see your IP address and its' registered location. This means nothing, as it actually is seeing the owner's location, which is your ISP. If they are based in your town that is where it would say. My IP is always recognised as being 25 miles from where I actually live, as that is the ISP location. Quite often not very helpful, as when looking for maps it guesses my starting point as that location. How do web sites' advertisements know where you live?
When you access a website you download data from them. They can track where the data is going, if not all the way to your home, at least up to your internet service provider (which shows what town yur in). Can't fix that, thats how the internet works.
Maybe using a proxy server could throw them off and make them ping a different city. Try using a proxy server if yur worried.
Probably your IP (Internet Protocol) Address which are numbers identifying your internet service / modem. The structure of an IP address is xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx. Every computer has it own IP address which knows your location then websites can access your IP address and see where you live and as if by magic there is a woman in your town waiting for you!
Hope this helps

Weird to talk about marriage and children when first meeting?
It seems like our society is not interested in marriage at all, we have both men and women waiting to walk down the aisle until their late 30's. With that said what is your interpretation of 20 year olds who discussed living together, marriage, and children when they first meet ? Extremely romantic, down right lame or something else?Weird to talk about marriage and children when first meeting?
No way. If you know what you want why should you beat around the bush... People have sex on the first date and that seems totally normal to most of our society. Why should marriage and kid talk be weird? There should be more talking and less physical activity on the first date.
I like that idea... i wish more ppl would do that. When i first meet a guy, these concens come into my mind first and they stay there until they're discussed. But they're usually not discussed until much later. You're right that it's considered weird and not normal. The person that brings it up is seen as being psycho or over eager, desperate, etc. So to not make ourselves seem this way, we wait to discuss it. But imo, it's a huge waste of time.Weird to talk about marriage and children when first meeting?
WEIRD? PSHYCO is more like the word! RUN!
Depends
Was it a heavy conversation or chit chat?
A little lame maybe, but some people want to do things right from the startWeird to talk about marriage and children when first meeting?
I think it means that you are very attracted to each other, but realize that it is important to know how each other feels about the important issues. The more you can talk about and get a feel for what the other person really expects from a life commitment, the better you will deal with what happens.
If you want 6 kids and he is anti children, then it won't work!
20 year olds have no business be married and having children... you aren't mature enough and aren't even old enough to be finished with college...
i dont care how old someone is, if you talk about marriage on the first date...even second its very odd and makes you look desperate lol. I find it wonderful that woman now dont feel like they need a man to take care of them and can live there own life first before they marry later in life...nothing wrong with it. I think alot of women back in the day were raised to believe the man supports the wife, while the wife stays home and takes care of the home. well thats silly, marriage is equal and men and woman share responsibilities. women dont need a man to take care of then just like men dont need a woman to clean up after them.
No ,these things are important to know!
Men who are pushy and have a poor sense of the appropriate have a tendancy to turn out to be controllers. So, something else. A little scary.
We have conventions in our society for a reason. It's not romantic to rush into marriage. It's sad and shows a lack of judgment.
I taught my daughters to wait. Get an education, travel, achieve professionally and wait. Have something to offer when you marry. Don't do it out of desperation because that's all that's available to you.
My 26 yo is waiting. That shows judgment.
