Anyone who has saw 30 Seconds To Mars live, do they meet fans after their gig?

I'm seeing 30STM next month %26amp; was wondering if they meet fans who stick around after their show? Most other gigs I've been to, they come out the back of the venue to meet fans, but I know every band wouldn't do that..Anyone who has saw 30 Seconds To Mars live, do they meet fans after their gig?
It all depends on the venue, the venue that follows and their health.

When I saw them in Boston in April of last year (this was a smaller venue), 2 of the 3 band members were sick, but they made an announcement that they would be staying after to sign autographs. Though, sadly, it was one autograph per person (though some people were able to slip in two items) and NO photos. They were visibly wiped out and wanted to at least give something to the fans, but one could tell they were ill and ready to move on (but still totally gracious, kind and never rude, unless someone was trying to take advantage by cutting line or snapping a photo. Not cool)

When I saw them in September in Hampton, NH (even smaller venue then Boston), Shannon was sick, they had a gig in Atlanta the night before and had to leave almost immediately after the Hampton show to get to their next venue in time. They may have stopped for fans at their buses, but it would have been a rush, because their buses were leaving while people will still waiting in traffic.

When I saw them in Boston in May (this year) it was a bigger venue. Jared was wicked sick with a cough and voice loss. The arena itself did not let people hang around. They were very strict about making the fans leave the building immediately - NO loitering, even if you needed to use the bathroom. Whereas, at the Hampton venue, they didn't mind people hanging out, it's just the band never came back out. At this Boston arena, fans who waited by their buses, may very well have had a chance to meet with the band. I have read and seen many photos of other Mars fans who have said that the band stayed long enough to sign items and even allows photos.

I have to defend Shannon, Tomo, and Jared. I'm sure you might hear stories about people who say they were 'snubbed' by 30STM. That they waited and the band members ignored them. The only time that I have known them to 'snub' their fans, is either because of pure exhaustion, illness, crisis, or they have to leave one venue in order to make it in time for the next venue. They love their fans and even call Echelon (and their die-hard fans), '"family". They are one of the most fan involved bands that I know of. They stay after venues even though they don't have to or may be ill; they bring fans up on stage; have theme nights; look at 'The Summit' - where they gathered a 1000 or so fans to be involved and perform on the 'This Is War' album; when (and if) they wrap this tour, they will have been touring nearly two years! Two years away from home, friends and family - all because us fans keep asking them for more, and they keep giving it.

Probably, your best chances at meeting them is:

1. You can buy Golden Tickets, but my sister %26amp; I were terribly disappointed in how it was handled (not the band, but by those running it). We thought it was grossly overpriced, but if you have the money, it is a once in a lifetime chance.

2. LIsten to, email or contact local radio stations. Sometime they have contests for meet %26amp; greets, even if they don't publicly announce it. I got very lucky: because my Golden Ticket experience pretty much sucked, I was hopeing for one last chance at meeting them. One of our local radio stations was giving away tickets. I asked if they had any VIP passes (some radio stations get VIP passes that no one at the station wants. They didn't have any passes, but 2 days before the show, I get a call that I have been invited to a radio station meet %26amp; greet. Because I had got talking with the guy, was nice, and persistent, when he found out they were having a M%26amp;G contest, he selected me as one of the winners.

3. If the venue allows you to wait (most likely they will announce if they are going to be staying after to give autographs), you can take a chance of seeing them after that way,

4. Waiting by their buses is probably your overall best chance at meeting up with them. Chances are you might get lucky, and at least you might be able to take a few photos even if they don't stop. I really hope you get a chance to meet them. They seem like a really great bunch. But, I also hope you can forgive them (you can get upset, of course, because you didn't get to meet them) if they can't stop and meet with the waiting fans.

Good Luck!Anyone who has saw 30 Seconds To Mars live, do they meet fans after their gig?
Best bet would to wait around the tour bus after the gig for a while.
