You can find american every where in Rome, the best place to meet american resident in Rome is in Via Veneto, the American Consulate is this street and many many outdoor cafe' with american having a drink, reading papers, having ice cream, you can meet nice people as I have. also near the Pantheon on a outdoor market you can meet american ladys that are shopping for fresh fruits, vegatebles, flowers. I have met americans in Piazza Navona and also in small restaurants in the aerea- good luck -- ciao -
