Does the person who signed for my learners permit license have to attend the meeting for the hardhip?

I am 15 and live in AR and have scheduled a time to meet with a hearing officer but my parent who signed for my license is unable to make it.. Does that parent have to attend the meeting, or can my other parent attend it?Does the person who signed for my learners permit license have to attend the meeting for the hardhip?
You should just call the dmv office and ask because in my state the person that signed it needs to be there........
