I keep meeting parents who live in sadness?

Because their teenage kids have got involved with some of these things such as alcohol, drugs , fags, dropped out of School, got involved with the law and some have even taken up prostitution.



While i can understand the sorrow those parents got to live with, I will never understand the full force of it because i dont have kids and dont have any family of me own.



Do you think that i am a very lucky woman for not having kids and any family ?I keep meeting parents who live in sadness?

While many may have sad circumstances, those who live following and obeying the edicts of Christ live better lives. While we still live and grow old, feeble, sick, and finally die, we have at times been blessed with brothers and sisters in the faith that are loving and caring beyond anything this world has to offer.



My old 89 old father whom I am separated from by circumstances beyond my control is being given assistance by friends in his faith that come to his home and assist him and his wife in so many loving fine ways, making sure he has enough food, and the things of life, and love.



If you had family, you could be better off. Don't you have uncles and aunts who might care for you?



I don't count you lucky. But, this world is insane so having family doesn't guarantee anything.I keep meeting parents who live in sadness?
There's no need to live in sadness, just think how to solve their problems and bring them back to the straight path.



Having family and kids r nice, I hope everyone will be blessed with that including you.



If its fated for us not to have family we could always help and love those with families and kids and be like a family to everyone.

I think it's especially troubling for those parents that went down the same road in their own youth, And then to have to watch their kids doing the same, when they had hoped they'd have done better.



Everyone loves having kids though, it's the natural thing to do. Just be sure when you do, you raise em proper. no need to beat them or control them, you just have to be their role model. And hopefully marry a sensible man that will also be their role model.

Not everybody's kids go through such bad times, mine are ok.

I sympathise with the parents who go through such troubling experiences, but most kids do turn their lives around and teenage is a hard time for most kids but luckily it doesn't last that long.

In answer to your question; As we are living in the last days of mankind's wicked system, it probably is a good thing not to have children because you will not have the added burden of anxiety about them: But I add that as Christians, those who have children should pray to The Lord that they too will be saved: Because we must throw all our burdens on Him:

Psalm 55 tells us to cast all these burdens on The Lord: It could be a good one for parents of errant teens:
it's all about your how you're feeling- not having children just for the sake of not getting hurt is like giving the thief all your money so that you won't live in fear that he would steal it.

Family is they greatest institution God has given to us

Lucky? I don't know if luck is the word I would use.

Were these a matter of choice? Were these because you were just too busy? In these decisions, did you focus on the material or spiritual?

Ask yourself those questions before you ask if you are "lucky". Believe me, loneliness can be a very heavy burden.
Yes, there are many parents whose children were brought up in Christian homes but they now serve the devil and this is part of the great falling away or apostasy that was prophesied to come near the very end before the rapture. My three children are some of them and I just meant a wonderful Christian woman who raised 6 children but they are all backslid and it is so sad because a wall comes between us or a gulf and the communication is strained or non-existent. It is a very sad thing. This is happening all over. Praise God for the ones who are dedicated Christians and carrying on the truth. We can pray and pray but no use worrying our heads off. We must continue in the faith, and trust that Jesus will bring them back no matter what it takes.



So, I cannot say that you are more blessed than you would have been if you had children. It is not easy raising children in this day and age though! I went through horrible trauma in this because my husband was not faithful and just living for himself, plus bad neighbors, no car, etc. Could go on and on. There are always circumstances.
You should live your life as you wish, not based on a very small portion of the population. If you want children, but do not procreate because of other people's brats, then you are making a bad choice which you will regret.



Remember, you are someone's child, same as me... Are/Were your parents sad?
If you're child free by choice, that's your business. But I'd bet you've also met dozens of parents of happy and successful teens. Portraying all parents as unhappy is a falsehood.
Thinking oneself fortunate because you aren't experiencing what another person does, gives little joy. They invited that experience into their own lives so they could be more loving when they learn from it. So appreciation for it brings the acceptance of the lesson.
In all honesty, not at all. All the biggest laughs, most heart touching moments, best memories involve my children, and now grandchildren. I never had any serious problems with either of my lovely daughters.
You are doing good work. I don't think you are lucky to be without children and family.

Because it gives an order and meaning to our life when we bring up children who are good citizens.

Yes u are right now. But when old age comes,u will feel very unlucky as there won't be any loved one to look after u. The old age homes treat old people really bad, I heard.

Moses became a cold bloody murderer. The “Thou shalt not kill” commandment was more of a big finger salute to the foreman that he murdered back in Egypt, and to his widow and children! The Bible writers have Moses ordering to slaughter everybody, including babies and pregnant women in the Palestine region to make room for Israel!



Numbers 25:16-17 (NIV) The Lord said to Moses, “Treat the Midianites as enemies AND KILL THEM…”* (*regardless of how good they were to Moses giving him FULL political asylum when he was running away from the Pharaoh’s police! The PREACHERS explain that the Midianites were SINFUL people that had to be slaughtered!)



The Midianites couldn’t possibly be a political “enemy” of Israel because in this story Israel didn’t exist as a nation, yet. The Bible writers say that the Jews were slaves born in Egypt. “God” is ordering Moses to TREAT THE MIDIANITES AS ENEMIES AND TO KILL ALL OF THEM! Zipporah, Moses’ first long term loving wife was a Midianite! No Christian wishes to talk about the TOTAL HOLOCAUST of millions of Midianites because in real world HISTORY there is no evidence of any such massacre… like the real one of Hitler holocausting the Jews!

The fetuses had to be destroyed with the pregnant women! No preacher today would risk his source of income denouncing any gross immorality in the Bible stories! I QUIT CHRISTIANITY AND RELIGION IN GENERAL to tell you like it is. Only immoral Preaches still push the Bible God down everybody’s throat in the USA), BUT SAVE FOR YOURSELVES EVERY GIRL* (*GIRLS!!! NOT ADULT WORN OUT WOMEN!!!) WHO HAS EVER SLEPT WITH A MAN* (*even once! CHRISTIANS must fully support “The Word of God!” or they go to HELL when they die!).

Today’s Christianity is still a very primitive and repulsive religion, second only to Islam! Pedophilia and the killing of innocent children and pregnant women was NEVER a “sin” in the Bible stories, but a Holy routine!
