I'm thinking about moving to Las Vegas from the Los Angeles area. As a single white guy in my late 20s would I have trouble meeting other people? Is it easy to meet people in Las Vegas if you live there and are in your late 20s?
Not an easy place to make friends easily. People here tend to stay to themselves. You more than likely won't get to know your neighbor. All yards are walled off. The weather is so hot you just can't sit outside and talk with neighbors. I too live in So Cal...I lived in Vegas a few years ago when i was 25. The easiest way to meet people is to go out with the people you work with. You hang out with them, meet their friends and have a good ol time. They usually know where to go. I went to pool halls, house partys, bar hopping, casinos, all that stuff with them. I would go to your local bar. I wouldn't really go to the strip to meet people. Not that you cant, just that locals dont really go there at all. PT's is a good place to check out. They got a bunch of those spread throughout Vegas. You can find a bar on just about every street corner in Vegas so you got plenty of options. Maybe some of the smaller casinos off the strip like Texas Station or Fiesta. Most of my friends that i made there i worked with. Its a normal city, they have malls and movie theaters where you can meet people also, just like any other city.Is it easy to meet people in Las Vegas if you live there and are in your late 20s?
Stay in LA.!!!!!! Vegas is ok to visit but not to live. Its really hot here, like up to 114F June through September. There are no jobs and did I mention it's really HOT!!! When people get to Vegas they suddenly turn to flakes. I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area and I'm trying to get back there or SoCal.
But I guess you have to see for your self. This is just my opinion, some people love it here. Good luck.
