I live in a small city in southern ontario and do not see myself staying here and often i thought i would move to toronto when im ready to move out and start a career. But lately i have been thinking about Vancouver any tips on moving out there? Like how to find work, a cheap place to live, where to meet people stuff like that or anything you wish to share with me.I live in a small city but i want to move to Vancouver tips?
Move to Surrey B.C. (25km out side of Vancouver), rent is way cheaper, food is somewhat cheaper, more space, it's only a 20-30min sky-train ride away from downtown Vancouver, everything on the other side of the bridge is more expensive, if your going to move here and want cheap rent, move to Surrey or Delta..I live in a small city but i want to move to Vancouver tips?
Lets first start by you moving to a bigger city than where you are now. So the biggest city is going to be Toronto. Why don't you start there? Go there, meet people, make friends, find a job, any job. Find a place to live. It will be cheaper there than to Vancouver. Then make a trip to Vancouver and decide for yourself.
No one can help you : "Like how to find work, a cheap place to live, where to meet people stuff like that or anything you wish to share with me." cos what I do will be different from you.
Good luck.I live in a small city but i want to move to Vancouver tips?
Have a room ready for you to move into in Vancouver. You can find one on Craigslist Vancouver from your home in Ontario.

The questions you want to ask are, for example, How long does it take to get downtown by public transportation? Is it near the Skytrain? Is it near a supermarket? Will I be sharing a kitchen and bathroom? With how many people? Do I have to sign a lease? Can I see photos of the room?
Once you've found a home, the rest you'll figure out. If the rent is less than 400$, be careful what you're getting into. You can get a really nice room for around 500.
Cheap places to live don't exist in Vancouver. It has one of the highest cost of housing indexes in Canada. You might have to live in the outskirts or one of the surrounding cities, which could make commuting a pain. It's a little difficult to comment on work because you don't say what you do.
