You can Goggle "time zone converter" and you will get many websites that will tell you the time equivalent between two time zones. UTM (Coordinated Universal Time) is the basis for civil time in many places worldwide, and it is commonly referred to as GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) when precise accuracy is not required. The time of two locations can then be easily expressed as either positive or negative with respect to UTM.



For EST and I assume it will be EDT (Eastern Daylight Time), then it will be four hours behind UTM, that is -4hrs GMT. Therefore, if the equivalent time for 6:00pmGMT on Saturday 18June2011 will be 2:00pm on Friday 17June2011 (that is: you are 6+4 hours behind the place of your counterpart.)
