Ok so i met this guy on xboxlive and we were really good friends and weve known eachother for 4 years and hes my age. He lives in texas and i live in arizona. And i know hes not a pedafile because he sounds his age and ive seen pictures of him and ive talked to his mom and little brother and the first time i met him i told him i was 26 cuz most people just lie about there age and pretend there the same age as you but he still said he was 10 when i met him then i told him the truth that i wasnt really 26 i was 10 to lol and plus you can so tell he hasnt hit puberty yet at that time lol Now im 14 though and i really trust him and he said we can meet because every summer he goes to arizona. I said ok as long as its somewhere public and he said ok thats fine. (im bringing a friend to so i feel pretty confident that meeting him will be fine, right?)Is meeting my xbox live buddy okay?
Sure that would be fine. :) Your bringing a friend and you have talked to him to confirm its not someone older. So it should be okay.
As long as your parents are okay with it, and you've got a friend with you, I don't see the harm.



Just make sure your parents are completely fine with it. Don't go against their wishes if they forbid you from going.



Also, don't tell him exactly where you live/bring him to your house or go to his house. Even if he is a great guy, it's just for safety.

Ye, you have done everything properly and have taken all the correct precaution's, the only thing you might wanna do is get your mum/dad to drop you off and have them wait around for a bit to make sure just in case. Plus cause it is America take a saw-off just in case :P

Of course! There is nothing wrong with a good and honest friendship that is spawned from videogames. I met a friend of my friend that way. Even though we never met before in real life, I know that if we did I would feel pretty safe. So there's honestly nothing wrong with meeting him. In fact if you are nervous, just tell him how you feel and be sure to communicate with each other because communication in relationships are key. In conclusion, enjoy your time spent with him. Start off with public place and who knows, as you get to know each other better it may blossom into something beautiful :)
