serengeti..Suggestions for a place to live which meets the following requirements?
japan, australia, some parts of china, tibet, pakistan, iceland, greenland , siberia, newzealand
Twin Falls, Idaho

I live in Filer witch is few miles away.It is nice. The only thing I don't like is the cold winters.
Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio
Can't swear as to population....but come on down to Mississippi. Weathers good. No gangs in my town. Can still leave your car unlocked, walk down the street at night etc. I live in Natchez. You will have to research populations to find a town the right size. Good luck!
wichita Ks perhaps.......I am also searching for a new place to live. so I will be watching the answers to this question too.
Salt Lake City, Utah. Crime is low and so are the gangs. If you go more into the surrounding cities of Salt Lake the crime rate drops and gangs are at a minimum. The cost of living here is pretty fair, but the wages are also in line. Real estate here is still pretty much still in a buyers market. About temperature though .... the last week we've been in, or close to the 70's, but this is unusual. Temps in the 70's don't usually come until mid May, but we still have 70 degree temps into mid October.
See the following from the census bureau:
