Have you ever experienced meeting someone online and falling for them?

I met this guy on facebook 4 months ago and we have been chatting since.We have a lot in common and both like eachother.The problem is we live on opposite sides of the country.We always mention one coming to see the other,but never is an actually flight bought.We chat here and there and txt too,ive never spoke to him on the phone yet.I really wanna meet this guy,even though I am so nervous cause I started to really like him.Have you ever experienced this? and advice?Have you ever experienced meeting someone online and falling for them?
Yes, I met a boy IN the USA through a friend, and I am UK. I met up with him a couple of times in New York, then I ended up going to live with him for a year!
No not personally but every relationship my best friend has ever had has been from someone she meet off the internet. None yet have stayed in the picture longer than 8months but she has meet a lot of men through various websites and chat rooms. Even though I don't believe in finding my soul mate through a computer this is not the same for everyone. This is perfectly normal and really if people were to discriminate against you or make any negative comments is probably jealous.



Anyway why rule out a potential soul mate that just happens to live on the other side of the country when I could be the person that you are meant to be with.

I met my husband on MySpace. Turns out we went to both junior high and high school together, and lived about three miles apart, yet we had never bumped into each other before then. We couldn't be happier now :)



My advice since it is someone who lives so far away, is to just be careful and prepare yourself for the fact that he may not be who he claims to be. Other than that, set a date and book a flight. You never know what could happen if you don't give it a chance.

yeah that's how i met my bf and we've been dating for six months today. i suggest you talk to him on the phone first to make sure he is who he says he is, then take it from there.
