How to dress for a School Committee meeting?

my wife is a new member of the School Committee in the town we live in and she will be going to her first meeting on thursday and she wants to know if this is ok to wear to the meeting tan slacks a a gray sweater black pantyhose and black flats please be honest

How to dress for a School Committee meeting?
I would say to wear some business casual. And definitely tell her to wear a pop of color. A good neutral on the bottom, the tan slacks....but tell her to wear either some color or a little pattern, it will make her more approachable. And color is always fun!!!!
