How can i get a meeting with a majior recording company?

okay.... this is no joke! i love music more then life i have been singing since i was 2 and man do i wanna do this im not perfect im me im not doing this for money i just wanna live my dream and if yall can tell me how i can get a meeting i would be the happiest girl in the world! so please do(:How can i get a meeting with a majior recording company?
Ok, so this is pretty much part of my job; connecting unsigned bands/artists with label executives.



NO ONE WILL PAY YOU ANY ATTENTION UNLESS YOU HAVE ALREADY MADE THE EFFORT!



No one has excuses anymore with the internet. If you can't become an internet hit, then you will have no chance with impressing a record label.



The way I work is by listening out on the myspace unsigned sections, the youtube most listened lists, www.rcademos.co.uk and www.columbiademos.co.uk (these are where you can submit demo's/write blogs/accumulate fans, so that A%26amp;R teams can advise the label to to keep an eye, or show interest). If you haven't made an impact on any of these sites, then a label will not listen.



If people don't like you online.. a business like a record label isn't going to take a bigger gamble than they have to.



So, get yourself a band/demo/songwriter, then record yourself and get gigs. If you start small and are good, bigger and better venues will book you, if they don't, then I'm afraid you're just not good enough or trying hard enough.



Stop thinking that it will be easy.. people like you are laughed at.. seriously..this is no joke!

you need to send demo's to loads of places, so you get people to hear you, either that or get tons of fans on myspace, do gigs and stuff and they might come see you if the hypes big enough
