If i did not know of the joy that friends and family bring then i wouldn't know any better other than the loner lifestyle and would probably not kill myself

I'm not a religious person, I do believe that life has a purpose though and whether we live it in solitude or with company has no bearing on its value. therefore placing a high value on this life and all of its tribulations I would chose life, even if there aren't any human companions there are always plants, animals and insects one can get acquainted with.
