Anyone feel the same way I do?How can I go out and meet new people if I live in a small town where there is no place to meet people?
Most small towns have some kind of community events, a parade, dances, bingo night, etc. Go to those. If you are standing in line some place - the store, the grocery, etc. strike up conversations about the weather, the slow line, the local sports team. Go to events at the schools and talk to people. THe plays, the sports events, etc.
Consider joining a club or going to events at the library. Go to the park and start talking to people.
IN most small towns, the churches are where you meet people. Sadly, if you don't want to go to their churches, you get pretty much left out.How can I go out and meet new people if I live in a small town where there is no place to meet people?
There are many lonely people wanting the answer to that - and likely there are a bunch in your own community. Try asking your friends; usually someone knows someone who'd be perfect for you. Also, if there's anyplace where volunteers are needed (if you'd like to avoid the bar scene) then sign up.Good luck. Move to a larger town.
